It has been a few weeks since out last post, but don’t fret we haven’t forgotten about blogging! Here we have a new one post as we sport some new looks! Without further ado lets look at what we are wearing!
If any followers out there noticed I am posting less frequently these days: been busy organizing the Create your own Tarot event. This hobby takes up about one-two hours each day, which is exactly the time I had for SL photography. I do still make images, however mostly related to the event. I also started creating as Larissa Starostin, which seems to be great fun, I am fully inspired and enjoying the growth in skills. To avoid going crazy with multitasking I decided to manage this blog on each Saturday, and cover less events. But there might still be some surprise posts when I cannot resist! However if any of you reading this post wish to help me with the organization of the Tarot event, please let me know. I could use some help updating the CyoT blog with vendor pics/logos and someone else helping me with the FB updates would also be appreciated. I am not sure what I can offer in exchange besides the pleasure of seeing it nicely get together. I am not doing this for profit, more for the fun of it, and I am fully satisfied with the result this way.
Totally Top Shelf Events:Out of this World is open from the 12th January – 2nd February. This is my first time for “officially” blogging for the event, and started out with two celestial figures, Sun and Moon… or Day and Night (though you might have a hard time figuring which is whom… that should be fun). I do like the contrast of black and gold, and I believe there is a Sam Sparro song that would nicely fit in there too.
Great news, my friends! I am starting to be heavily sponsored. I needed to celebrate that with above pic, featuring an awesome design from Zibska, an artist full of daring creativity. Also, I picked the Christmas group gift hair from Tableu Vivant. I do not usually wear long hair in my posts, but I think it does fit the headpiece.
Headpiece, necklace:Zibska – Zephyrine Uomo @ We ❤ Role-Play! (features 20 colours for main and accents. Women’s version is also available at the event.)
Recently I helped Synyster Creations to set up their inworld store. I do like interior design, helped to set up the square in the front, and of course landed a hand with a few pics too. Syn has a great deal of awesome group gifts for men on display, the T-shirt featured here is just one among the few.
I also got invited to blog for Paper Dolls, so people following both blogs might see similar posts from me for a while.
Speaking of Paper Dolls, Ember wrote a great article on blogging for SL, it is a must read for all fellow bloggers. I have compiled a page full of such articles, it will be under constant construction, but I decided to go public with it anyway.
I like how the lights turned out in the series, though i have crashed throughout the photoshoot, I was able to reproduce it quite well. Reminds me of a sort of comic book style, which fits the Supernatural theme in a way.
First, I wanted to fill the upper floor to have the Eyes Wide Shut mood, and with the help of a few club members we did a great series, but somehow I voted for the above picture with a Del May pose. It is hard to make a convincing shot with so many people. You can view the series with other great pictures in the Flickr group for The Chamber.
Update on 26th October: Did not even get into the first 20, but I enjoyed planning for the contest. I guess my approach is very different to these pics than it was expected. OR I sohuld have played with the lights more. All in all congratulations to the winners and all participants.
