Maybe it is because it is winter, maybe I just hit that phase, but I do enjoy exploring the brighter settings these days. If you would like to experiment too, find below the windlight settings I used for above pic.

After a heavy hardware update I discovered that there is a glitch with the latest AMD drivers that needs a workaround, and I have uploaded a few files that help with this. Basically the meshes worn on the avatar become invisible when hardware skinning is turned on. If you experience the problem, or know someone who has such issues, this workaround is a handy trick.
To celebrate getting my shadows back, and also the release of the new Maitreya mesh body, Larissa decided to boycott winter and is wearing Zaara jewelry and Larissa’s swirly bikinis. She is also wearing Argrace hair and her usual old skin from Belleza. (Edit: the face skin is from Belleza, on the body she is wearing the “mixed” skin applier from DeeTalez.)
I stumbled upon Nadja Baxter’s stunning look and had to ask her for a photoshoot, which was kindly granted. I am exploring brighter lighting these days, I hope you like it. Please visit her blog for credits.
I wanted the reindeer or dog hat and gloves from Gabriel’s gacha at The Men’s Department, and I kept winning penguins. So here is Abby happily wearing them, because well, she is way less picky than me. She is also wearing one of the Erratic socks from the Arcade event and cardigan from Ego.
Shots taken at Pinoy Hideout Island. Wonderful location in winter too :).
My fourth submitted pic to The Arcade Photo Contest somehow ended up to have rather symbolic content, which I really enjoyed to put together. You have to work in the contraints of event items and try come up with a message, or convey a mood. Well whatever the outcome, I did like how my depiction of Jesus turned out, so I included a few more pics of him below.
Awesome news, one of my pics was chosen to win the grand prize in the Pinoy Hideout competition. It is a fantastic, great feeling, and I am deeply honoured! 🙂
I found this hair with poses at Argrace and thought how fitting it would be with the horses. I just loved the peace that shore offered and felt like a great moment and mood to capture. I love it that others could relate too 🙂 I wish this moment of beauty, happiness and harmony with nature to everyone every once in a while.
Larissa is also wearing: Sweater from Monso, boots from Mon Tissu and jeans from Drawmachine from ages ago.
Below I included the links to the other winners, as I wanted to see them in one place. But all the participants did a great job, it was a tight race, as usual 🙂
